How we handle data
A short and honest account of what this site collects, which is very little, and what happens once you leave it for our retail partner.
This site has no accounts, no logins, no basket and no payment form. There is nothing here for you to fill in except a search box and a load calculator, and neither of those sends anything anywhere.
What stays in your browser
The load calculator and the model number search both run entirely on the page you are looking at. The counts you type, the room you pick and the text you search for are used to work out what to show and are then gone when you close the tab. None of it reaches us.
What our host records
Serving a page produces a server record: the address requested, the time, a rough location derived from the network, and the browser string your device sends. This is the ordinary exhaust of putting a website on the internet. We look at it in aggregate to see which pages are read and which are broken. It is not tied to a person and we do not try to tie it to one.
What happens when you follow a link out
Pressing a button on a unit page opens our retail partner in a new tab. From that point you are on their site under their terms and their privacy policy, and whatever they collect is between you and them. We do not receive your name, your address, your payment details or your order. Read their policy if you want to know how they operate, because ours has no bearing on it.
If you write to [email protected] we keep the message for as long as it takes to answer it and a while after, in case you come back to the same question. We do not add you to a list, because there is no list.
Children
This is a catalog of electrical hardware. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything about them.
Changes
If what we do changes, this page changes with it. There is no separate archive to consult, only what is written here.
