Tripp Lite 1 x 2 HDMI Over Cat5/Cat6 Extender Kit, Transmitter and Receiver, 1080p @ 60 Hz

Running thick video cables through conduit or across drop ceilings gets expensive quickly. We build this transmitter and receiver pair to carry your digital video and multi channel audio over standard twisted pair cabling instead. You connect your media source at the local end, run a single patch line, and feed your remote screens without software or configuration.

What it does

How this one is built

Solid metal chassis

The transmitter and receiver housings sit flat on a media shelf or mount near your display hardware. The black finish blends into a commercial bracket assembly, keeping the focus on your screen rather than the connection hardware behind it.

Single network run

You pull one length of copper patch cable between the sender and receiver boxes instead of bulky video lines. That makes it easier to fish through tight conduit, drop down hollow wall cavities, or route across ceiling trays.

Manual equalization control

Long cable runs can degrade signal strength and soften the picture. A built in equalization dial lets you tune the incoming signal at the receiver end so text and fine lines stay crisp on distant monitors.

Simple hardware setup

Connect your source, your displays, and the interconnecting patch cord without loading drivers or setting up an operating system utility. The hardware handles handshake timing and supports both two channel stereo and surround sound formats.
