Tripp Lite 15 ft. Cat5e Molded Shielded STP Patch Cable (M/M), RJ45, Ethernet, 350 Mhz
Racks packed with power supplies and switches create a noisy electrical environment. We build this shielded patch cable with stranded copper and an integrated drain wire to keep network traffic moving cleanly between ports. It drops into place and seats with a positive click.

How this one is built
Shielded twisted pairs
Foil shielding surrounds the twisted copper conductors to isolate network traffic from nearby power leads and adjacent data lines. A drain wire grounds unwanted noise away from active equipment.
Molded boot construction
Snagless molded ends relieve strain right where the cable enters the plug. The hood protects the release tab so cords pull through crowded wire managers without catching.
Gold plated pins
Contacts receive gold plating to maintain solid physical contact through repeated patching. That barrier keeps oxidation off the metal surfaces inside the RJ jacks.
Jacket color coding
The blue outer jacket stands out in dark cabinets and busy wiring closets. It helps network techs trace drops quickly from the patch panel down to the switch.
