Tripp Lite 1U HINGED Patch Panel Bracket
Tight telecom closets often lack the floor space for a full upright frame. We build this heavy steel bracket to hold a standard panel flat against the wall while keeping the punch downs accessible. The front frame swings open so you can dress wiring without unbolting the entire assembly.

How this one is built
Steel frame build
Heavy gauge stamped steel forms the back plate and swing arm. The black finish resists scrapes from punch tools and screwdrivers during long termination jobs in cramped utility rooms.
Reversible swing hinge
The front section can be mounted to open to the left or to the right. That lets you work around conduit runs, door frames, or adjacent wall boxes without pinching cable bundles.
Stud spaced mounting
Keyhole slots on the back plate match standard spacing for wall studs. You can drive your fasteners straight into structural wood rather than relying solely on drywall anchors under load.
Rear punchdown clearance
The open depth leaves plenty of room behind the panel for bundle bend radius and zip ties. Technicians can swing the face out, punch down lead pairs, and latch it shut.
On the nameplate
These are the figures our retail partner lists for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
