Tripp Lite 300W Mobile Power Retrofit Kit for Medical Applications with 36 Amp-Hour Battery and

Rolling carts in patient care areas need line power without trailing an extension cord across the floor. We build this retrofit package with a power inverter, an onboard battery module, a remote user panel, and brackets to mount the hardware directly to the frame. Connected medical equipment runs while the cart moves, and charges when plugged back into the wall.

What it does

How this one is built

Inverter hardware

The central power module mounts low on the cart frame. It supplies alternating current to attached monitors and computers, then automatically switches to charging the battery pack whenever you connect the main line cord to a wall receptacle.

User replaceable battery

The onboard battery module handles the load during rounds between rooms. If the cell ever reaches the end of its service life, the housing design allows a technician to swap the pack out directly on the cart.

Remote user interface

A compact display panel mounts near the work surface where clinicians can see it immediately. It shows current battery reserve levels and charging status so staff know when to roll the cart back to a wall outlet.

Full retrofit package

We supply the inverter, battery module, remote interface, cabling, and mounting hardware together. It fits standard medical utility carts so you can convert an unpowered mobile workstation into a self-contained rolling terminal without custom bracket fabrication.
