Tripp Lite 45-Port AC Mobile Charging Cart Storage Station for Chromebooks, iPads, Laptops
Classroom and clinic floors demand gear that rolls smoothly and keeps power supplies separate from the devices themselves. We built this steel cart to house a fleet of laptops and tablets, routing cords through tidy overhead channels while an automatic timer alternates power across outlet banks to balance the load.

- 45 unit mobile charging station: This 120V mobile charging cart contains 45 internal NEMA 5-15R outlets to proved up to 1, 440 total Watts for Chromebook charging, iPad charging, other tablet charging, or laptop charging. An in-cabinet RJ45 jack connects Ethernet peripherals including routers and hotspots. 10 ft. Cord allows for flexibility When accessing AC outlets.
- Perfect for education, healthcare, and work settings: Tripp Lite mobile charging stations are perfect for housing and charging classroom tablets overnight to ensure acountability and preparation for the following day. Mobile design enables devices to be safely transported throughout the school or facility, and locking mechanisms offer theft protection and complete control over access to the devices. The laminated top acts as a smooth writing surface and holds a projector, monitor or other peripherals that plug into two external NEMA 5-15R outlets controlled by an inside on/off switch.
- Efficient charging: Tripp Lite laptop carts use smart charging capabilities, where an hourly timer alternates charging zones to help prevent overloads. Led lights indicate which zone is eing charged. This helps to identify which devices are charge at any given time, as opposed to sorting through devices individually.
- Avoid clutter: lockable rear doors offer restricted access to the backend of the charging cart, where heavy power adapters are store out of the way in removable baskets. Cables and connectors run through zoned slots and an overhead cable Manager, keeping them organized and out of the way.
- Common application: useful in applications where high-mobility is valuable, such as education, government, business, warehousing, or anywhere with multiple device charging needs.
How this one is built
Zone power cycling
An automatic timer switches power between internal outlet banks on an alternating cycle to help manage overall draw. Exterior indicator lights show which section receives current, so you know which row is charging without opening the steel doors.
Separate adapter storage
Heavy power bricks sit in removable rear baskets behind their own lockable steel access door. Cables route cleanly through designated slots and overhead organizers into the device bays, keeping cords untangled and out of reach.
Laminated work surface
The flat laminate top holds a monitor, document camera or classroom materials at standing height. A pair of external AC outlets on the side panel powers surface equipment and shuts off from an internal master switch.
Network pass through
An internal RJ socket connects an access point, router or local switch inside the cabinet without snaking loose patch cords through the doors. The long main power cord reaches wall outlets across wide rooms.
