Tripp Lite Cat6 Cat5e Shielded Junction Box, 110 Style Punch Down (N237-001-SH), Silver
When a run comes up short or needs a clean splice mid-span, this junction box splices the run directly without extra plugs. The solid metal housing shields the punchdown block against ambient electromagnetic and radio noise. It mounts out of the way on a wall or ceiling joist.

How this one is built
Shielded metal shell
Solid metal enclosure encloses the termination point to help shield signals against stray electromagnetic and radio interference. The heavy shell holds up behind walls and above drop ceilings where ambient noise gathers.
Punchdown terminal block
Terminates incoming solid conductor wiring directly using standard punchdown tooling. Color-coded wiring slots guide your punch tool so both cable ends seat firmly without modular plugs in between.
Direct run splicing
Joins two cable ends into one continuous circuit. By skipping intermediate couplers and extra patch connections, you keep the run clean and mechanical connection points to a minimum.
Clean cable entry
Cable entry points grip shielded jackets firmly to maintain continuity through the box. Fasteners anchor the base to a wall stud, ceiling beam, or backboard without stressing the terminated conductors.
