How this one is built
Shielded metal housing
The silver housing encloses the punch down points to shield conductors against incoming line noise and cross talk. It closes up tightly to keep the splice secure inside a wall cavity or drop ceiling.
Direct conductor termination
Conductors punch straight down onto the internal block without needing modular jacks or patch cables in between. This makes a permanent bridge between two runs when pulling a fresh line is out of reach.
Solid wire seating
The terminals are laid out for solid conductor wiring, biting through insulation cleanly to seat each core. It holds the conductors firmly in place once the punch tool completes its stroke.
Structured cable extension
When a drop falls short of its drop box, this unit bridges the gap without adding bulky modular hardware. It sits inline along the cable tray or behind drywall until the run reaches its destination.
