Narrow jacket diameter
The reduced cable profile takes up less room in horizontal wire managers and leaves space between switch ports. Warm air moves out of the cabinet instead of damming up behind a wall of thick jackets.
Snagless molded boot
Each end has a molded hood over the locking clip so the tab does not snap off when you pull a line back through a crowded bundle. The strain relief keeps the termination solid under repeated handling.
Stranded copper pairs
Four pair stranded copper conductors give the cord enough flex to drop into tight corners without kinking. Gold plating across the contact pins maintains clean electrical contact with the jack across many insertions.
Gray jacket color
A clean gray finish lets you trace connections quickly through a patch panel or dedicate one color to standard data drops. It blends into server cabinets without drawing attention to routine network runs.
