The molded hood covers the locking tab so it glides past neighboring cables without catching or breaking when you pull a run through a tight bundle.
Internal pin layout
Staggered pin placement at the plug helps hold down near-end crosstalk and structural return loss across standard networking patch bays.
Integral strain relief
Molded ends grip the outer jacket firmly. That takes mechanical tension off the wire terminations when cords hang down the front of a rack.
Clean copper conductors
Solid copper wiring inside the blue jacket maintains signal continuity between wall jacks, switches and patch panel positions.
