The reduced outer diameter takes up far less volume in tight wire managers. That leaves more open cross-section for cooling air to move through packed rack frames.
Snagless molded boots
Each end features a molded hood over the release tab. The plug slides freely through wire looms during pulls without snapping the latch off.
Shielded copper pairs
Internal foil shielding helps isolate line noise from nearby power runs and adjacent network drops. Stranded copper conductors flex easily without fatiguing the core.
Gold-plated contacts
