Narrow cable profile
The reduced outer diameter takes up less volume in vertical managers and across horizontal wire trays. Less bulk in front of the switch face lets exhaust air escape the cabinet instead of banking up heat.
Snagless molded boots
Pulling a line out of a packed bundle can snap an exposed plastic tab. The molded hood covers the latch so it glides past neighboring cords without catching, bending back or snapping off in the closet.
Shielded copper construction
Internal shielding helps isolate the conductors from line noise, electromagnetic interference and radio frequency bleed across adjacent channels. Clean signal transfer keeps voice, video and raw data traffic moving across the patch field without dropped packets.
Gold plated contacts
