The narrow outer diameter keeps dense bundles manageable across tight cable managers and leaves space for cooling airflow to move through the cabinet. Shielding helps keep line noise from bleeding between closely packed runs.
Snagless molded boots
Molded boots cover the plastic release tabs so the ends do not catch and break off when pulled through a crowded harness. Integral strain relief supports the wire where it enters the plug body.
Gold plated contacts
Gold plating across the contacts resists corrosion over repeated insertions and helps maintain signal clarity across the copper pairs. The terminations are factory tested for near-end crosstalk performance.
Dense network patching
