Standard patch cords choke off exhaust air when laced across dense server faces. This thinner diameter cord packs tight without creating a solid wall of insulation, letting draft move through the cabinet.
Snagless release tab
The molded boot covers the plastic catch so it cannot hook on neighbor wires during a pull. It presses down cleanly when you need to unseat the plug, even in tight rows where fingers barely fit.
Shielded pair construction
Foil shielding surrounds the twisted copper pairs to block stray radio interference and line hash from adjacent power runs. It helps keep data, voice, and video traffic clear over high speed links.
Gold plated contacts
Each terminal pin carries gold plating to resist corrosion and keep continuity clean over repeated matings. Integral strain relief behind the plug keeps the stranded conductors from fatiguing under tension.
