Tripp Lite Cat6a 10G Ethernet Cable, Snagless Molded Slim STP Network Patch Cable (RJ45 M/M)
High density patch panels get choked with thick jackets quickly. We built this slim shielded cord with stranded copper pairs to drop into tight rack spaces, clear out blocked airflow paths, and connect switches, servers, or wall plates without fighting bulk.

- 10 FT: Distribute data, voice and video at higher speeds and quality with Tripp Lite’s Category 6a 10G Ethernet snagless molded patch cable, over 38% slimmer than standard Cat6a cables to increase airflow in full racks. Ideal solution for connecting printers, computers, copiers, routers, servers, modems, hubs and switches in high-density data centers. Length: 10 ft. / Color: Yellow / Connectors: RJ45 Male
- SNAGLESS DESIGN: Snagless design protects the locking tabs on the RJ45 connectors from being damaged or snapped off during installation. Ideal Cat6 Gigabit Snagless Molded Ethernet Cable. This cable ends feature 50-micron gold plating to help ensure the most accurate signal transfer possible, improving near-end crosstalk (NeXT) performance to 650 MHz.
- SNAGLESS RJ45 CONNECTORS: Snagless design protects the locking tabs from being damaged or broken off during installation. The contacts feature 50-micron gold plating to help ensure the most accurate signal transfer possible, improving near-end crosstalk (NEXT) performance to 500 MHz.
- PREMIUM PROTECTION & CONSTRUCTION: Shields disruptive EMI and RFI line noise that can disturb your electronics and inflict hardware damage or data loss. 28 AWG copper wire, the four-pair stranded cable is rated for speeds up to 10 Gbps. Integral strain relief reduces stress and helps prevent cracking or breaking loose from the connector.
- RELIABLE PRODUCT FULLY BACKED AND SUPPORTED: This product is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty and is supported by Tripp Lite's Chicago-based expert technical support team over phone and email.
How this one is built
Shielded slim profile
Stranded copper pairs sit inside a thin outer jacket that takes up less space in wire managers. The reduced diameter keeps cooling air moving through dense equipment rows while internal shielding guards the signal against line noise.
Snagless molded boot
The latch hood covers the release tab so it cannot catch on neighboring cords during pulls through a bundle. Molded strain relief supports the wire right at the plug, keeping the termination solid through repeated moves and changes.
Gold plated contacts
Each male modular plug uses gold plating on the contact pins to fight corrosion and maintain clean physical contact. The connection holds down near end crosstalk across voice, data, and video feeds between switches, servers, and routers.
Bright color jacket
Yellow PVC stands out against black rack uprights and crowded cable bundles, making patch runs simple to trace at a glance. It helps identify specific switch uplinks or critical server drops during routine maintenance in the rack.
