Snagless molded boots
Each connector hood shields the locking clip so it will not catch and snap when you pull the line backward through a crowded bundle. Integral strain relief supports the wire where bending stress concentrates most.
Gold plated contacts
Gold plating over the contact pins limits corrosion and maintains clean metal contact across repeated insertions. The stranded copper conductors keep the patch flexible through tight turns behind patch panels and server trays.
Clear run identification
The aqua jacket stands out clearly against black rack frames and standard gray drops. It helps network technicians trace cross connects between switches, servers, and routers without tugging on the wrong line.
