Narrow jacket profile
The thinner cord takes up less volume in vertical managers and across patch panels. That leaves open channels for cooling air to circulate through packed server racks and network cabinets.
Snagless connector hoods
Molded boots cover the release tabs on both ends so they do not catch on adjacent cords and snap off during pulls through crowded wire trays.
Gold plated contacts
Copper conductors land on gold plated pins at each end to maintain signal integrity and keep near-end crosstalk low across voice, video, or data links.
Molded strain relief
Integral strain relief boots support the conductors right where they meet the plug. The jacket flexes without pulling conductors loose from their crimp points.
