Tripp Lite Cat6a 10G Ethernet Cable, Snagless Molded Slim UTP Network Patch Cable (RJ45 M/M)
Tight patch panels turn into solid walls of copper when thick patch cords pack together. We built this slim network cable to take up less cross section across high-density switch faces, helping warm air move through crowded racks. The yellow jacket marks out specific drops right away during tracing.

- 1 FT: Distribute data, voice and video at higher speeds and quality with Tripp Lite’s Category 6a 10G Ethernet snagless molded patch cable, over 38% slimmer than standard Cat6a cables to increase airflow in full racks. Ideal solution for connecting printers, computers, copiers, routers, servers, modems, hubs and switches in high-density data centers. Length: 1 ft. / Color: Yellow / Connectors: RJ45 Male
- SNAGLESS DESIGN: Snagless design protects the locking tabs on the RJ45 connectors from being damaged or snapped off during installation. Ideal Cat6 Gigabit Snagless Molded Ethernet Cable. This 10' cable ends feature 50-micron gold plating to help ensure the most accurate signal transfer possible, improving near-end crosstalk (NeXT) performance to 650 MHz.
- SNAGLESS RJ45 CONNECTORS: Snagless design protects the locking tabs from being damaged or broken off during installation. The contacts feature 50-micron gold plating to help ensure the most accurate signal transfer possible, improving near-end crosstalk (NEXT) performance to 500 MHz.
- PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION: 28 AWG copper wire, the four-pair stranded cable is rated for speeds up to 10 Gbps. Integral strain relief reduces stress and helps prevent cracking or breaking loose from the connector.
- RELIABLE PRODUCT FULLY BACKED AND SUPPORTED: This product is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty and is supported by Tripp Lite's Chicago-based expert technical support team over phone and email.
How this one is built
Slim jacket profile
The narrow diameter takes up far less volume in vertical cable managers and dense patch fields. Air moves around the bundle more freely, which helps keep switches and servers cooler inside closed cabinets.
Snagless boot design
Molded hoods cover the plastic locking clips so they do not catch on neighboring runs when pulled through crowded wire trays. It saves the release tabs from snapping off during moves and changes.
Gold plated contacts
Plated pins seat cleanly inside standard modular jacks, resisting oxidation over long runs in warm closet air. Stranded copper conductors handle repeated patching without brittle wire breaks behind the plug.
Molded strain relief
Heavy-duty overmolding supports the connection point where the flexible jacket enters the plug housing. It absorbs the bend radius when cords drop sharply into horizontal wire managers below switch rows.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
