Narrow jacket diameter
The reduced outer diameter takes up less volume in wire managers than standard network patch cords. Bundles lie flatter against rack rails, leaving more open space for cooling air to circulate around hot switch blades and servers.
Snagless molded boots
Each male connector features an integral hood that shields the plastic retention tab during pulls. The clip glides past adjacent patch lines without snagging or snapping off, saving you from re-terminating runs during moves, adds and changes.
Gold-plated contacts
Copper conductors terminate in male modular plugs with plated contact surfaces to maintain solid electrical continuity across many mate cycles. The tight termination geometry keeps near-end crosstalk low across standard voice and data patching runs.
Stranded conductor core
Four stranded copper wire pairs give the cord enough flexibility to handle tight bends inside enclosure corners without putting strain on switch jacks. The blue PVC jacket distinguishes patching circuits across busy switch rows.
