How this one is built
Slim cable profile
A skinny jacket profile takes up less volume inside tight wire managers and cabinet corners. That extra open space lets cooling air move through packed racks instead of getting choked off by bulky bundles.
Snagless boot design
The molded boots cover the connector release tabs so they do not catch on neighboring cords during pulls. You can snake a line through a crowded run without snapping the plastic clip off the plug.
Gold plated contacts
We use copper conductors and finish the modular plug contacts with gold plating. Clean metal-to-metal contact limits crosstalk and keeps data packets moving across the link without corruption.
Molded strain relief
Heavy molded boots support the wire where it enters the connector body. This keeps normal tugging and tight patch panel bends from fatiguing the copper strands inside or pulling them loose from the pins.
