How this one is built
Snagless molded boot
The molded hood sits flush over the latch tab. When you pull the connector back through a tight bundle of patch cords, the plastic tab will not catch on neighboring jackets and break off in your hand.
Shielded twisted pair construction
Internal shielding helps isolate the data lines from ambient noise inside crowded telecom closets. The conductors carry data and operating power to gear like security cameras, VoIP hardware, and point-of-sale terminals without separate line drops.
Molded strain relief
The factory-terminated ends bond the boot directly to the outer jacket. Repeated bending near the switch faceplate will not pull the conductors loose from their internal pins or work the jacket out of the connector.
Durable outer jacket
The black outer jacket handles routine routing through vertical cable managers and tight patch panels. It lies flat inside wire troughs and keeps patch bays neat as moves, adds, and changes happen over time.
