How this one is built
Shielded twisted pairs
Cables bundled tightly behind a patch panel pick up interference from neighboring runs and nearby power feeds. Foil shielding around the pairs blocks electromagnetic noise so packets pass cleanly between your switch ports and wall plates.
Snagless molded boots
A broken RJ latch turns an otherwise good patch cord into scrap. Molded boots cover the plastic tabs on both ends, letting you pull the cable through congested wire management without catching and snapping a connector.
Power over Ethernet
The copper conductors carry low-voltage operating current alongside your network traffic. That lets you hook up VoIP desk phones, security cameras, and wireless access points directly from your PoE-capable switch ports.
Durable gray jacket
The flexible gray jacket routes neatly through vertical organizers, horizontal D-rings, and desk grommets. Molded strain relief behind each connector keeps repeated pulls from loosening the copper terminations inside the plug.
