Snagless molded boot
The RJ plug latch sits beneath a molded hood so it glides past neighboring cords rather than catching and snapping off during a pull. Integral boots also grip the jacket to relieve bending strain right at the plug joint.
Pure copper conductors
Stranded copper wire inside a four-pair unshielded jacket keeps the lead flexible for tight turns inside rack managers and behind shallow wall plates. The wire handles high-speed data transmission and delivers power to PoE hardware.
Gold-plated contacts
Gold plating across the plug contacts resists oxidation and sustains clear contact over repeated insertions. That clean mating surface helps limit crosstalk between pairs and keeps signal reflections low along the full path.
Power delivery ready
Running both network traffic and operating current across one drop simplifies hookups for overhead access points, security cameras, and desk phones. Connecting the run supplies power straight from your PoE-capable switch port.
