Snagless boot design
Molded hoods cover the plastic locking clips so they do not catch and break when pulled through bunched wiring looms. The strain relief keeps the wire pairs seated cleanly inside the plug body.
Power over Ethernet
Carries DC power alongside data traffic on the same copper pairs. That lets you hook up security cameras, wireless access points and VoIP desk phones without running separate power drops to every location.
Stranded copper conductors
Four pairs of stranded copper wire flex easily around sharp rack corners and through tight horizontal managers. Gold plating on the plug contacts maintains clean metal-to-metal continuity over many insertions.
Blue jacket coloring
A distinct blue jacket makes specific network drops easy to identify at a glance. It helps sort voice lines, server uplinks and local office runs across crowded patch bays and distribution frames.
