Snagless boot design
Tabs tend to snap when you fish a line through a crowded raceway or behind a patch panel. The molded hood covers the latch, so it pulls through clear and seats firmly on the first try.
Gold plated contacts
The end connectors carry gold plating over copper contacts. That barrier keeps oxidation down and maintains steady pin contact through repeated plug-ins at the switch or the wall plate.
Stranded copper pairs
