Snagless boot design
The molded boot covers the release tab so it will not catch on adjacent cords during pulls. You can snake the line through tight wire managers without snapping off the plastic latch that keeps the connector seated.
Gold plated contacts
Terminations feature copper conductors and gold plated pins that maintain clean signal contact inside the jack. They resist surface corrosion and handle repeated insertions when patch fields need repatching across different switch ports.
Power over Ethernet
Stranded copper pairs carry low voltage current alongside network data. That lets the cord run power directly to security cameras, access points and desk phones without dropping an extra line for a separate wall plug.
Bright yellow jacket
