Snagless molded boots
The plastic hood covers the locking tab on each connector. Pulling the line through a bundle of existing runs will not snap the clip off, and the molded boot keeps the wire from bending sharply at the plug.
Stranded copper pairs
Four pair stranded copper conductors flex easily inside patch panels and behind office furniture. Gold plating on the contacts maintains clear metal-to-metal contact with the jack, keeping crosstalk down across the entire run.
Power over Ethernet
This cable delivers operating power alongside data to gear that supports it. Security cameras, desk phones, and wireless access points run directly off the switch port without needing an extra power brick at the mounting location.
