Shielded twisted pairs
Screened shielding surrounds the stranded copper conductors to keep electromagnetic interference and radio noise off the line. That shielding helps maintain clear signal throughput when cords run beside power wiring in crowded raceways.
Power over Ethernet
The copper conductors carry low-voltage operating current alongside network data. That lets you feed security cameras, voice over IP desk phones, and wireless access points straight from a compatible switch without running separate power supplies.
Low smoke jacket
We mold the blue outer jacket from low-smoke zero-halogen material. It holds up to tight bends across cable management arms and produces less toxic fumes than standard PVC if exposed to high heat in enclosed closets.
Snagless booted ends
Each RJ connector features a molded boot that shields the locking tab as you pull the cord through tight bundles. Built-in strain relief keeps the termination intact after repeated patching cycles.
