Tripp Lite Cat8 40G PoE Shielded Ethernet Cable, 2 Feet / 0.6 Meters, Blue, High Speed
Network closets get noisy with electromagnetic interference from adjacent power lines and packed switch banks. We build this blue patch cable with foil screening around the twisted copper pairs to keep your connection clear. It handles both high-speed data traffic and power delivery across the same jacketed run.

- CERTIFIED & TESTED CAT8 ETHERNET CABLE: High performance, tested, high speed 2 feet / 0.6 meters internet cable. Cord Rated for 40Gbps (40 gigabit) networks with 26 AWG stranded copper. Perfect for server applications, cloud computing, video surveillance, and online high-definition gaming and streaming. Supports bandwidth up to 1200 MHz for carrying information and streaming video with no lag.
- SUPPORTS POWER OVER ETHERNET: PoE cable can supply the power to operate compatible PoE devices, such as security cameras, VoIP telephones, point-of-sale kiosks and access control devices. Provides 30W (802.3at) Type 1 PoE (15.4W, IEEE 802.3af); Type 2 PoE+ (30W, IEEE 802.3at).
- FLEXIBLE AND DURABLE RJ45 CABLE: Snagless cable protects locking tabs from being broken off. Integral strain relief gives extra flexibility, reduces stress and helps the cable move freely without cracking or breaking loose from the connector.
- SHIELDED CABLE: SSTP (screened shielded twisted pair) blocks EMI/RFI line noise, and Near-end crosstalk (NEXT) levels are practically eliminated to prevent hardware damage and provide the cleanest signals. connects network components like printers, computers, copiers, routers, servers, modems, hubs and switches for home, data centers, and network closets. Patch cable ensures peak performance throughout your LAN.
- RELIABLE PRODUCT FULLY BACKED AND SUPPORTED: This product is covered by a Lifetime Limited Manufacturer's Warranty and is covered by Tripp Lite's expert technical support team over phone, web and email.
How this one is built
Shielded pair construction
Individual pairs wrapped in screening foil keep out line noise from nearby power runs and neighboring patch cords. The shielding maintains signal clarity across tight runs between switches, servers and patch panels where crosstalk tends to build up.
Power over Ethernet support
The copper conductors carry operating current directly to connected hardware alongside the data feed. You can power surveillance cameras, card readers and voice phones without pulling separate electrical drops to each device location.
Snagless boot design
Molded boots cover the plastic release clips so they do not catch and snap when pulled through crowded cable managers. The built-in strain relief absorbs bending pressure right at the plug base to protect the internal copper terminations.
Durable outer jacket
A flexible jacket protects the stranded wiring inside from tight turns around cabinet posts and rack corners. The bright blue color helps trace the run quickly through dark cabinets filled with black power leads and server cords.
