How this one is built
Shielded twisted pairs
Individual foil shielding around each stranded copper pair cuts down on crosstalk from adjacent runs in a bundle. An overall screen keeps outside electromagnetic noise off your data lines, keeping packet traffic clean across the rack.
Power delivery support
Stranded conductors carry both network traffic and operating current across the same run. You can power surveillance cameras, card scanners, VoIP desk handsets, and access points directly from your PoE-capable switches without running separate power drops.
Low smoke outer jacket
The blue outer skin uses a low-smoke zero-halogen compound that resists flame spread. It suits installations through tight spaces and enclosures where ventilation is limited and combustion fumes need to be kept to a minimum.
Snagless boot design
Molded boots cover the plastic release clips so they glide past neighboring cords during installation instead of snapping off. Built-in strain relief absorbs tension at the connector base, keeping the internal terminations intact through repeated repatching.
