Tripp Lite Cat8 40G PoE Shielded Ethernet Cable, 7 Feet / 2.1 Meters, Black, High Speed
Patch cords take real abuse behind racks and inside crowded wire managers. We build this cable with shielded twisted pairs to keep line noise off your runs, paired with molded boot ends that will not catch on adjacent drops. It feeds voice gear, security hardware, and high-bandwidth ports without complaint.

- CERTIFIED & TESTED CAT8 ETHERNET CABLE: High performance, tested, high speed 7 feet / 2.1 meters internet cable. Cord Rated for 40Gbps (40 gigabit) networks with 26 AWG stranded copper. Perfect for server applications, cloud computing, video surveillance, and online high-definition gaming and streaming. Supports bandwidth up to 1200 MHz for carrying information and streaming video with no lag.
- SUPPORTS POWER OVER ETHERNET: PoE cable can supply the power to operate compatible PoE devices, such as security cameras, VoIP telephones, point-of-sale kiosks and access control devices. Provides 30W (802.3at) Type 1 PoE (15.4W, IEEE 802.3af); Type 2 PoE+ (30W, IEEE 802.3at).
- FLEXIBLE AND DURABLE RJ45 CABLE: Snagless cable protects locking tabs from being broken off. Integral strain relief gives extra flexibility, reduces stress and helps the cable move freely without cracking or breaking loose from the connector.
- SHIELDED CABLE: SSTP (screened shielded twisted pair) blocks EMI/RFI line noise, and Near-end crosstalk (NEXT) levels are practically eliminated to prevent hardware damage and provide the cleanest signals. connects network components like printers, computers, copiers, routers, servers, modems, hubs and switches for home, data centers, and network closets. Patch cable ensures peak performance throughout your LAN.
- RELIABLE PRODUCT FULLY BACKED AND SUPPORTED: This product is covered by a Lifetime Limited Manufacturer's Warranty and is covered by Tripp Lite's expert technical support team over phone, web and email.
How this one is built
Shielding against interference
Individual foil screening over the twisted pairs plus overall shielding limits crosstalk and outside electrical noise. The signal arrives clean even when the run shares tight conduit or bundle space with noisy equipment.
Power over Ethernet support
Stranded copper conductors carry standard PoE wattage directly to security cameras, access points, and desk phones. That means fewer wall warts behind remote equipment and cleaner drops through drop ceilings.
Snagless molded boot ends
The release tab on each connector tucks under an integral hood so it will not snap when pulling through dense cable trays. Molded strain relief keeps the conductor pins seated during tight bends.
Flexible stranded jacket
A pliable outer jacket lets the cord drape naturally between patch panels and switch banks. It bends without kinking, keeping your rack dressing orderly and easing tension on RJ jacks.
