Tripp Lite DisplayPort Cable with Latches, DP to DP, Male-to-Male, HD 1080p @ 120 Hz
A display run behind an equipment cart or across a workbench takes tugs from all sides. We build this DisplayPort cable with latching heads so it stays seated in the socket once it clicks in place. It carries digital audio and sharp video without dropping sync.

How this one is built
Latching connector heads
Small mechanical latches on both male plugs grip the port frame firmly. The cable stays seated until you press the release button to pull it, keeping video steady even when a desk moves or someone brushes the run.
Digital signal path
The internal wiring carries digital sound alongside high-definition video across the run. It supports content protection protocols and transfers clean frames from your graphics card or media source direct to the panel.
Cable jacket and strain relief
Molded strain relief collars cushion the transition from plug to jacket. The thick outer cover resists kinks and protects the inner conductors when routing through tight desk grommets or around monitor arms.
Long reach considerations
Longer spans need extra help to keep high-frequency signals crisp. When pushing maximum resolution over extended distances, pairing the cable with an inline booster preserves the picture quality without introducing artifacting.
