Tripp Lite DisplayPort Over Cat6 Extender Kit KVM Support USB 4K PoC TAA (B127-1A1-BDBD)
Conference rooms and display walls often separate the source computer from the screen by more distance than standard video cables handle. This kit links a transmitter and receiver across ordinary bulk twisted pair cabling. You get sharp video, multi-channel sound, and peripheral control at the far display.

- DISPLAYPORT EXTENDER KIT IDEAL FOR DIGITAL SIGNAGE: This complete transmitter and receiver system is recommended for video presentations in conference rooms, schools, trade shows, meeting facilities, houses of worship, retail settings, hotels and other digital signage applications where the source and display are farther apart than conventional A/V cables allow.
- EXTENDS A 4K A/V TRANSMISSION UP TO 230 FT: Extends 4K signals from a DisplayPort source device to a DisplayPort monitor up to 230 feet away via user-supplied Cat6 cabling. By adding a Tripp Lite B127A-010-H HDMI repeater or B127A-110-BH transceiver (sold separately) to the application, you can extend the signal up to 400 or 460 feet, respectively.
- LOCAL HDMI PORT ON TRANSMITTER SUPPORTS 4K @ 30 HZ RESOLUTION: To monitor the video signal being extended to the receiver, connect a 4K display to the transmitter’s local HDMI port with a user-supplied HDMI cable (such as Tripp Lite’s P568- or P569-Series). This port does not support multi-resolution capabilities, so the connected monitor must also support 4K/30 Hz to function properly.
How this one is built
Local display pass through
The transmitter unit includes a local HDMI output beside the main source input. You can set up a nearby monitor right at the source hardware to check what the audience sees down the line without walking the hall.
Long run signal extension
Standard video wiring drops out over distance. Running the feed through structured network cable bridges the gap between your media hardware and wall mounted screens across large rooms, trade floor booths, or auditoriums.
Built in image equalization
Long cable runs can soften picture details. The receiver includes equalization adjustment controls directly on the unit, letting you dial the display back into crisp sharpness once the run is patched and active.
Multi channel audio pass through
Audio travels alongside the Ultra HD video down the same single cable run. The setup carries uncompressed surround sound formats directly to the remote receiver without needing extra sound wiring routed through the walls.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
