Tripp Lite DisplayPort Over Fiber Extender Kit 4K @ 30Hz Ir USB Dup SMF TAA
Running high-resolution video between buildings or across a production floor quickly outpaces standard copper patch cords. This extender pair pushes Ultra HD DisplayPort signals over single-mode fiber instead. It handles uncompressed multichannel audio, USB, and infrared passthrough, keeping the feed clean across long pulls.

How this one is built
Local display tap
The transmitter includes a local HDMI port next to the main input. You can keep a monitor right at the source machine to see the exact Ultra HD picture being sent down the line.
Multichannel audio pass
Digital audio travels along with the video stream untouched. The hardware passes uncompressed DTS-HD, Dolby AC, and multichannel LPCM audio so sound stays clear at the far receiver.
Fiber link setup
A single-mode optical connection bridges the transmitter and receiver boxes. Fiber carries the signal clear past electrical noise and heavy machinery that would scramble copper runs.
Hardware plug setup
Getting the link running requires no drivers, management software, or external configuration. Connect your source, hook up the optical strand, and plug in the target display.
