Tripp Lite DVI over Cat5 / Cat6 Extender, Extended Range Video Receiver 1920x1080 at
Long video runs get heavy and stiff when you stick to thick monitor leads. We built this receiver to pick up a single-link DVI-D signal over everyday solid copper patch cabling and hand it straight to your display. It keeps your workspace tidy and lets you position the source hardware well out of the way.

How this one is built
Copper cable reach
Using standard twisted copper patch cabling lets you pull your video feed across rooms, through conduit, or over drop ceilings to a distant monitor instead of wrestling with thick, stiff monitor leads across the floor.
Equalization trim
A built-in equalization adjustment control lets you tune the incoming signal directly on the hardware. You dial in the picture quality to match the exact run distance and keep the image sharp on the far screen.
Source unit pairing
This receiver matches up with our transmitter and splitter units to complete the run. It takes the feed off the copper line and converts it back to a clean digital link that plugs directly into your panel.
Solid wire build
The unit takes advantage of solid-conductor patch cabling to carry high resolutions across the full span of your installation. Solid wire preserves signal strength across long pulls far better than stranded patch cords.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
