How this one is built
Directional signal path
The internal chipset translates output from an HDMI source into DisplayPort format. It operates in one direction only, letting older graphics cards or media decks drive newer monitors and conference room projectors.
Integrated USB power
Active signal conversion requires steady current. An attached USB-A connector pulls power straight from an open port on your computer, so there is no wall transformer hanging off the back of the desk.
Rich media carriage
The line handles high-resolution video signals alongside multichannel surround sound. Uncompressed chroma subsampling and deep color support keep fine text legible and digital signage graphics sharp on the receiving screen.
Direct connection build
Combining the active converter and cable into a single run cuts down on bulky dongles behind the display. The black jacket fits neatly into existing cable trays and runs smoothly through desk grommets.
