Tripp Lite Eaton USB 3.0 Adapter Converter USB-C to USB-A, Female-to-Male, 5 Gbps Data Transfer

Newer cables land with Type-C plugs while the desktop tower under the bench still runs older Type-A jacks. We built this compact block to bridge that gap without swapping out existing machines. It carries power and USB data across a single snug coupling.

What it does

How this one is built

Reversible female port

The Type-C end accepts plugs right side up or upside down. You can mate cables by feel behind a chassis without checking orientation first.

Gold-plated contacts

Internal pins feature gold plating to maintain clean metal-to-metal contact over repeated mating cycles. That keeps data lines quiet and power delivery steady.

Host conversion

The male end plugs straight into legacy hubs, docks, or workstations. It lets modern mobile devices and newer peripheral cords link directly to older hardware.

Backward compatibility

The internal wiring handles high-speed transfers on capable hosts while falling back to communicate with older USB generations on older motherboards.
