Tripp Lite HDMI Audio De-Embedder / Extractor with Built-In HDMI Cable UHD 4K x 2K
Modern media players and computers often send everything down a single HDMI run, leaving outboard audio gear out in the cold. We built this extractor to pull sound off the digital line while passing high-definition video straight through to the display. It connects an HDMI source directly to speakers or an amplifier that lacks modern digital inputs.

How this one is built
Integrated cable pigtail
A built-in cable reaches out from the compact housing straight to your video source. That keeps the adapter hanging neat behind the equipment instead of putting strain on the display port or demanding another patch lead.
Audio output options
Analog stereo jacks and a digital optical port let you tie into legacy amplifiers, soundbars or powered studio monitors. The adapter splits the sound without touching the video passing down the line.
Ultra high definition passthrough
Video carries straight across to your monitor or projector at high resolution. The extractor leaves the picture intact and full-bandwidth while peeling off the multi-channel surround or two-channel audio.
Black molded casing
The tough black shell drops behind a media console or into a conference room credenza out of sight. Strain reliefs protect the connection points where the lead enters the chassis.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
