How this one is built
Host connections
Plugs straight into the USB port and monitor output on the back of your server. It takes its operating power directly from the host bus, which keeps your rack power strips clear for actual compute hardware.
Twisted-pair link
Uses standard copper network patch cabling to bridge the span between the server and the central switch. Running thin patch leads through wire managers is much easier than pulling thick, bonded KVM trunk bundles.
Hardware setup
Works right out of the box without loading special drivers or background utility software on the operating system. You plug the leads into the machine, click the network cable into place, and the switch sees the port.
Compact form factor
The small body tucks right up against the rear chassis without blocking adjacent expansion slots or fan exhaust paths. Its light weight means it hangs from the ports without straining the physical connectors on the motherboard.
