How this one is built
Molded strain relief
The ends are molded directly over the jacket. This relieves tension at the plug so repeated pulls and tight turns behind patch panels do not pull the wires out of their crimp.
Gold plated contacts
Gold plating across the copper contacts keeps corrosion down over time. It maintains clean physical contact inside the jack through repeated insertions when gear gets swapped around.
Stranded conductor core
Stranded copper pairs give the cable flexibility to bend around corners and tuck into horizontal wire managers without kinking. It routes through crowded enclosures without putting excessive pull on the ports.
Tough outer jacket
