Tripp Lite NetController 8-Port Rackmount Console KVM Switch Steel with 19-Inch LCD Screen

Server cabinets get crowded fast when every machine needs local access. We built this console switch into a sliding drawer that stows away flat when you close the door. It pairs an LCD screen, full keyboard, and touchpad with multi-port switching so you can service an entire row of hardware directly at the rack.

What it does

How this one is built

Sliding steel drawer

The entire assembly rides on heavy steel rails inside your cabinet. Pull it out when you need to work on a machine, then slide it back flush with the posts so the rack door closes clean.

Local screen and input

The built-in display, keyboard, and touchpad give you a working station right in the aisle. It handles routine setup and bios configuration without rolling a crash cart across the raised floor.

Port selection controls

Switch between connected machines using the front push buttons, keyboard hotkeys, or the on-screen menu. Password settings help restrict access to the switching interface when the console drawer is open.

Daisy chain expansion

Link extra units together to bring a larger collection of servers under one master station. An external video port also lets you run a second display outside the cabinet when needed.
