Tripp Lite NetDirector, 16-Port, DisplayPort, KVM, Switch, Console w/ 17 in. LCD
Server rows get crowded quickly when separate monitors and peripherals clutter the aisle. We built this console to fold flat into a standard rack slot, pairing a fold-up screen and full input controls with direct switching across your connected systems. It brings local and network access together in one frame.

- 16-PORT REMOTE KVM OVER IP: This NetDirector DisplayPort KVM switch combines a rack-mountable keyboard, 17-inch LCD, touchpad and eight DisplayPort inputs into a compact housing that occupies only 1U of rack space
- EASY SWITCHING: Switching between computers is easy using the push buttons, keyboard hotkey commands or multi-lingual local console On-Screen Display (OSD) to quickly toggle between connected computers. Use the Auto Scan feature to scan all connected computers in five-second intervals automatically. Computers or servers can be quickly added or removed without having to power down the KVM switch.
- SECURITY: The B030-DP16-17DIP offers three levels of password protection (super administrator, administrator and user) to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to connected servers/computers. Up to 64 users can be authorized and 32 remote users logged on concurrently. Remote authentication support is provided via RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and MS Active Directory. The B030-DP16-17DIP also incorporates advanced encryption technologies: 56-bit DES, 168-bit 3DES, 256-bit AES, 128-bit RC4, 128-bit SSL and 1024-bit RSA.
- SPACE SAVING DESIGN: All connected DisplayPort computers or servers share a single monitor, keyboard and mouse, which saves space in your rack or workspace. DDC emulation allows each computer’s settings to adjust automatically for optimal screen output. Eliminating the cost of buying monitors, adapters, keyboards and mice for all eight connected devices keeps your TCO (total cost of ownership) low.
- RELIABLE PRODUCT FULLY BACKED AND SUPPORTED: This product is covered by a 1-Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty. To best support your purchase, Eaton's expert technical team is available via phone, web, or email to address any concerns.
How this one is built
Single slot console drawer
The entire assembly slides into a standard rack slot on heavy-duty rails. You pull the tray out, lift the screen, and fold it back down flat behind the cabinet door when you finish the work.
DisplayPort video and input
DisplayPort cabling feeds clear video straight from your servers to the console panel. Emulation keeps display settings aligned across connected systems so you can switch machines without messing up resolutions.
Access controls and encryption
Multiple tiers of user accounts help govern console permissions across administrators and staff. Network traffic runs through standard encryption protocols, and authentication ties directly into existing directory services.
Hardware switching options
Cycle through attached systems using front push buttons, quick keyboard hotkeys, or an on-screen display menu. An auto-scan mode steps through each server in sequence so you can monitor status hands-free.
