Tripp Lite NetDirector 8-Port Rackmount Console KVM Switch with 17-Inch LCD Screen
Server cabinets fill up fast, and rolling a crash cart down narrow aisles gets old quickly. We built this console switch to keep local access right at the frame. It slides out smooth, opens wide, and gives you direct control over a full bank of connected machines without eating up your rack space.
Price as the listing last showed it. Listings move, so the figure on the page you land on is the one that counts at checkout.

How this one is built
Single rack slot housing
The entire assembly tucks away flat when closed. You slide it out on steel rails and flip open the display when a machine needs direct attention, keeping the floor clear.
Integrated controls and display
The bright screen, standard keys, dedicated number pad, and touchpad give you a full terminal right at the rack face. You switch between connected computers without juggling separate peripheral cords.
Multi-platform system connections
The rear interface links to computers that use either legacy keyboard and mouse connections or modern universal serial bus cables. Switching between different generations of servers in the same cabinet stays straightforward.
Direct local hardware switching
You toggle between machines using pushbuttons on the console panel or through on-screen menus. The switch routes video and keystrokes directly, so you retain command even if an operating system drops its network connection.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
