How this one is built
Hardwired terminal block
The AC input and output run through hardwired terminals instead of standard corded plugs. That makes for clean, permanent conduit runs inside a back room where loose cords would only get in the way.
Automatic transfer switch
An internal transfer switch detects when AC utility power drops and switches connected loads over to your DC battery reserve. When utility service returns, it passes line power through and recharges the bank.
Polycarbonate outer shell
The housing is built from heavy polycarbonate that resists moisture and physical wear. It handles the damp air and temperature shifts common to equipment sheds, basements and crowded telecommunications closets without corroding over time.
Extended peak output
Starting up heavy loads often demands an initial burst of power beyond normal running levels. The internal circuitry supplies extra headroom on demand to help motors and power supplies spin up smoothly.
