Tripp Lite USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Active Extension Repeater Cable, USB-A (M/F)
Standard USB cords drop off fast once you pull them past a workstation. We built this active repeater cable to regenerate the signal along the run, so your cameras, printers, and drives stay linked to the host computer across the room. Multiple lengths can be daisy-chained for longer runs.

How this one is built
Active repeater chip
An integrated repeater circuit boosts the incoming USB stream so data keeps moving without packet loss. It draws operating power right from the bus to keep peripheral connections stable across the entire span.
Tinned copper shielding
Under the outer jacket, aluminum mylar foil and a tinned copper braid wrap around twisted data lines. That shielding keeps nearby office electrical noise from corrupting data traveling down the wire.
Gold plated hardware
Gold plating on both the male and female copper contacts resists corrosion over years of use. Plugs seat firmly inside mating ports so cables do not work loose behind equipment carts or kiosks.
Daisy chain runs
When one cord is not enough to bridge the room, you can link several together end to end. The active circuitry passes both signal and bus power down the line to support remote gear.
