Source connection
The reversible USB-C plug slides into the host port either side up, fitting matching computer jacks as well as Thunderbolt ports. It taps directly into DisplayPort Alternate Mode so the machine sends raw video without loading special drivers.

At the screen end, a standard DisplayPort plug fits directly into your desktop monitor, wall display or projector. The single cord layout replaces the usual stack of loose adapter blocks and separate patch cables behind the screen.
Signal handling
High-bandwidth video routes along the run alongside digital audio tracks. It supports ultra-high resolutions and swift refresh rates on modern panels while staying backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort displays and lower native source settings.
