How this one is built
Reversible source plug
The Type-C connector seats right side up or upside down on the first try. It ties straight into USB-C or Thunderbolt ports on laptops, tablets and desktop towers that support video output over that interface.
Direct video run
Because the conversion happens inside the line, you do not need an external power block or a separate adapter brick dangling off your desk. Digital audio and high-resolution picture travel together through the same run.
DisplayPort alternate mode
The internal circuitry reads the video stream directly from the port without extra driver downloads. It passes high-definition video through to standard monitors, commercial televisions and overhead projectors without noticeable lag.
Solid connector housings
Molded strain relief collars keep the cable from kinking where it meets the connector shells. The rigid ends take the strain when someone yanks the cord sideways across a conference table.
