How this one is built
Source connection
The reversible USB Type C male connector plugs into your laptop or tablet in either direction. It taps into alternate mode to carry native video signals directly from the host system.
Displayport output
The female port takes your existing DisplayPort cable to drive an external monitor, television or conference room projector. It passes high resolution video along with clean digital audio over the single link.
Molded white housing
The compact housing fits easily into a laptop sleeve and sits flat on a desk. Strain relief at the cable junction protects the internal wiring when the adapter bends behind a dock or notebook.
Driver free setup
Plug the adapter into your computer and it begins working right away. It draws operating power straight from the host connection without an external wall wart or extra cords cluttering the desk surface.
