Tripp Lite USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, USB Type C to Gbe, Thunderbolt 3 Compatible
Thin laptops drop the network jack to save space, which leaves you stuck on congested wireless networks. We built this adapter to bring back a direct physical network line through an open USB-C or Thunderbolt port. It needs no driver disks, so you plug in and get straight to work.

How this one is built
Reversible host connector
The USB-C plug connects in either orientation without fuss. It fits into modern laptops or tablets and works over Thunderbolt ports as well as standard USB connections.
Wired network speeds
A direct line to the switch avoids the drops and lag of crowded airwaves. The adapter handles standard network throughput without demanding an internal card upgrade.
Driverless setup
The unit draws power directly from the host bus and configures without separate software discs. It works across common workstation operating systems right out of the bag.
Compact travel profile
The short molded tail tucks into a laptop sleeve for field visits and trade show floors. The black housing resists scuffs from being tossed into tool bags.
On the nameplate
These are the figures published for this unit. Where a number is missing here it was not printed on the listing, and we would rather leave the row out than fill it with a guess.
