How this one is built
Coaxial video lines
Miniature coaxial wiring carries the individual color signals through the jacket. This construction preserves high resolution video and helps isolate the analog lines from neighboring electrical noise.
Foil shielded jacket
A dense foil shield wraps the internal bundle from end to end. It blocks interference from adjacent power supplies, desktop accessories and nearby gear routed through the same channel.
Plated copper contacts
Gold plating over copper contacts resists corrosion over repeated plug-ins. The pins mate cleanly with the display jack to maintain solid electrical conductivity across long hours of use.
Molded connector hoods
Sturdy molded strain relief supports each male end where the cable meets the plug. Integrated thumbscrews turn down tight against the video card or display chassis to avoid accidental disconnects.
