Tripp Lite VGA over Cat5 / Cat6 Extender, Transmitter and Receiver with EDID Copy
Long analog video runs over bulk cable get soft or drop sync before they reach the far wall. This extender kit uses a local box and a remote box linked by standard twisted pair wire to carry the feed across the building. Built-in image tuning dials clean up the picture right at the display end.

How this one is built
Image tuning dials
The receiver unit includes built-in equalization and gain controls. Turning the dials trims out skew and sharpness issues introduced across the length of the copper run before the signal hits the monitor.
EDID capture button
A dedicated copy routine reads the resolution and timing tables directly from the connected display. That data feeds back to the source computer so it outputs matching video settings without manual adjustments.
Flexible mounting options
Both the transmitter and receiver chassis come with mounting brackets. You can secure the metal enclosures to a wall surface, rack rail or pole mount near your equipment rack or the remote screen.
Structured wire connection
The link between endpoints runs over standard solid conductor category wire or zero-skew cabling. Using existing building cabling keeps you from having to pull thick, pre-molded monitor lines through tight conduit runs.
