How this one is built
Network slot installation
Slides directly into the accessory port on select rack and tower UPS models. Once seated, it brings the internal battery metrics and power status onto your management subnet over standard Ethernet cabling.
Encrypted remote access
Manage individual power systems through a built-in web browser, secure command shell, or network management protocol. Role-based accounts and firewall rules control who can log in and issue power commands across the local link.
Automated shutdown routines
Sends alert traps across the network and triggers script actions to bring servers down gracefully before the reserve capacity runs out. When utility power returns to the wall, it coordinates staged recovery restarts.
Centralized power visibility
Works as a standalone web interface for a single closet or ties into Brightlayer software to monitor scattered battery units across several buildings from one central console.
